Potluck Dinner
We usually do a potluck dinner during the meet; let's plan on Saturday evening. I usually bring the meat, and will plan to do so again. Everyone else can post up here what they can bring (i.e. side dishes, desserts, etc.) so we don't end up with 8 desserts and nothing else.
The only difference between an ordeal and an adventure is your attitude

you say that like it's a bad thing......stevec wrote:...8 desserts...
A legend in my own mind.

Is anyone interested in a potluck this year?

For sure, we'll bring something. Not exactly sure what yet. I may be able to get some fresh salmon by then. If not then maybe spanakopita.stevec wrote:Is anyone interested in a potluck this year?

The above is my opinion. It is subject (like all my opinions) to debate, disagreement, rude gestures, and loud raspberries.

Yummy!
I'd rather be driving my LJ!
Re: Potluck Dinner
"Winnie the Understanding Wife" just advised she will bring seven deserts as that will be easy and will also keep it below eight which seems to be too many.
She also advised that in lieu of the above, she could bring lettuce salad, some cold hot rolls, and one desert. Please note: At my questioning, she also advised me that lettuce salad has other stuff in it and not just lettuce.
Question: Can we cross border with small non-refillable propane cylinders or should we just plan to get them in Canada?

Seven desserts... I'll not bring much meat to grill, so I will have plenty of room for dessert!Myers wrote:"Winnie the Understanding Wife" just advised she will bring seven deserts as that will be easy and will also keep it below eight which seems to be too many.

You're fine bringing the small propane cylinders into Canada. Just don't bring a firearm to shoot them; you'll have to source that after you cross the border!
