:-( so long since I've done it I can't remember.
Last on I had was fairly hot and could cruise close to the speed limit all day.
Should have mine running again by mid week so I'll try it and let ya know ... oops! no speedo cable  ... hey! ... Matt! :D

won't be too tough Matt! just a couple of sandy tracks and some bumpy road 8) ... don't have time to organise anything serious.

Might try to sort out something a bit more testing for later in the year, after some rain or something....

It is a nice area to visit, lots of history around so, maybe bring a swag and stay o/night and take a better look round.....!?!

Post by nicklj50 »

matt bring the lj20 as mostly ok. you shouldnt have any problems, only one section that even i can get bogged in lj50 but can reverse out of ok {so far fingers crossed} have discussed with eddy on phone the friday night, planning some good sections was goin to go look today but too fhot and so i am thinkin up were to go to hopefully all good cant wait
max speed to sit on in lj50 mine ,i sit on 75 kph and just cruise and piss all the people that come up behind me haha adel to barossa is about 80km and eddy has about 100 ,matt its about 100km to pt wakefield so you might have a better idea how long then.

For future reference, the little "X" box by the "quote" and "edit" boxes on the right side of your post will delete said post. Didn't realize it stopped working after a reply though.

"edit" will not delete. even if you delete all text in the post you still need some content in the post to enable stuff to happen, otherwise you get a pop up window says "you must enter a message when posting"

That's correct; that's why you use the "X" box, next to the "edit" box.

It does? Well that sucks! Tough part about being an admin, things work for us that don't for anyone else, and we never see 'em!

re barossa trip

Post by nicklj50 »

hi all went and start checkin out for 28th, and found sand traps to be very soft and easy to bog down but was great. only hoping that it not to hot due it get very humid down in the centre section and some one has mored the dropped trees along the way, at the other side there is a tree hanging down and the lj50 only just made it by 2 inches [50mm] but all is looking good sounds like matt, tom eddy and myself and sam a local with a sierra coming out to play all 4 now
