Actually at an campground outside of St Louis...
Did a couple of days at Six Flags on the way back from the Badlands.

tweeder wrote:OK, we're ready. decided not to take the 5th wheel....too much fabrication work involved with that (we'd hafta put a hitch on it). so we're just gonna find a motel to crash at. they got them in Oklahoma, right?
Good freaking luck finding one. Shane finally found one in Layton (10 miles away) that had 2 rooms left and he got one. That was 3 days ago.

Ya may haffa stay in Tulsa.

Bring a tent tweeder if you don't have one I have plenty.

If ANYONE needs anything you can call me on my cell phone @ XXX-XXX-XXXX (removed for my protection) lol

I will be leaving here around 3-4pm today for the meet...

...after I fix the windshield frame.

I stopped to get gas yesterday and a guy was looking at the LJ in the back of my truck and asked if the windshield lowered and I said yes and I lowered it to show him but forgot to put it back up and sure enough when I got back out onto the highway the wind flipped it back up and bent it backwards and cracked the glass :pissed: so now it's off to the glass place to have them cut a new one and then I need to bend the frame back in place. But I still have plenty of time so no rushing around....yet.

BTW: the weather forecast for the weekend I heard last night was 100* and humid, but that was for KC. Hope it's cooler in Ok.

Yeah, right.

That sucks... If you need a new windshield frame, I hear that Yellow freight company has one floating around somewhere... apparently they've had it for a few years.
