Ok so who is working hard trying to get it all ready by next weekend?
I just rebuilt the top end of the engine in the 20, and just finishing up on cleaning the oil pump.
I need to put a tow bar on the Samurai so I can tow it from my house to Joplin since that is where I will be leaving from Friday morning.
Need to put the lockers into the Samurai.
Need to pack everything.
Gather all the extra parts we might need and tools and get them into a tool box.
Attach the fire extinguishers onto both jeeps.
All this (plus some things that I can't remember) by tonight.

Well I added things up (that was hard to do since I went to school in Kansas
) and looks like I will need to take tomorrow off from work just to get it all done. Oh darn the luck!

My list to get ready for the meet:
1. pack clothes, bug spray, LJ meet shirts, etc.
2. Go to airport Thursday night.
Guess I don't have an excuse to take the day off!
If anyone wants me to bring parts or magna-koozies to the midwest meet, please let me know by Wednesday. Also, I'm trying to only bring one carry-on bag (so I don't have to check anything), so I'm not bringing all the shirts, just a couple of each size. If you have a specific request, please let me know soon! So far I only have Jimny getting a Large t-shirt.

The Koozies are from my Suzuki club, Wazuks. They're "magna-koozies", which means they have a magnet on the bottom and one on the side, so you can put your drink in it, then stick it to your bumper or door, and it'll stick. We had a batch (96) made up for the club last year, and have been selling them for $10 ea. If ya want one (or more), let me know what color(s) and I'll put 'em in!

COOL! I will take one.
Blue or red or whatever color, I don't care. Wait unless you have one in Suzuki yellow!

I do have yellow, but it's not necessarily "Suzuki yellow". More of a Toyota/Mazda blend I think.

What colors did you want again? I'll just bring a couple of each color to be safe. Do you want 4 shirts from this year, or last year? (I still got both, but I don't know if I have 4-XL's left from this year). I'll pack the dash plaques tonight, so's I don't forget 'em!

Wanted this year, but I'll take last year's.

Since it looks like I'll have to check a bag, I'll just bring everything I have left from both meets.

OK, we're ready. decided not to take the 5th wheel....too much fabrication work involved with that (we'd hafta put a hitch on it). so we're just gonna find a motel to crash at. they got them in Oklahoma, right?
