Just don't stand in a puddle. If we didn't weld in the rain on the wet coast we wouldn't weld at all.

It's welded. Just nobody needs to look at the welds. Welding while the rain runs down the back of yer neck and drips off the crack of yer a$$ is NOT conducive to pretty beads. Forecast is 80% chance of rain all day tomorry. Never freaking fails.

Hmmm, up here around "rainy Seattle" it was sunny all weekend, with temps in the mid 70's to lower 80's, with low humidity... :P

I actually spent yesterday afternoon with the LJ81 and a jar of polishing compound. What a difference that made - it looks 100% better! The brown doesn't have that faded, grey tint to it anymore.

I should've taken some "before" and "after" pics. It looks like it's a different color now.

Looks like what will happen to me is this:

Today I worked all indoors and it was hot and sunny, tomorrow I will be driving with open jeeps stuffed full of stuff and it will rain on them all the way to Joplin. I just know it will.

*Now that I said that, it won't rain a drop on me! YES!* (nothing goes the way I think it will)

Well I am getting Smuz's rain now! and of course my LJ20 is in the back of my PU where it is too tall to go under my carport and I don't want to unhook it from the Sami to put it in the garage since I have to leave here around 5am in the morning, I sure don't want to be out there that early trying to hook up a tow bar and safety chains etc. I guess it will just have to get wet, it's not like it hasn't before.

WOW! Now it's pouring, blowing, lots of lighting and thunder!

Well it didn't last long, enough to get things wet and make it humid around here for tomorrow. I can still hear thunder off in the distance.

I need to double check the bindings, I'm not sure I'm happy with 'em. Also need to secure the spare tire and the jack sumhow.

And when I looked under the 20, I saw that all the exhaust hangers were broke and the pipe is laying on the spring. That's prolly what broke the other manifold. Looks like me and a roll of bailing wire need to address that issue.

Also known as "Farmers Fix All"

Smuz: looks like I will be there Thursday afternoon/evening, so if you need any help bringing your fleet from your friends house I can help. I will be able to haul one at a time on my trailer.
