Who's coming to the meet????

Post by Smuz »

Post here if you plan to attend the Midwest meet. Or PM or email me.
I'll update this list from time to time. If you don't want your name listed yet, say so.
At this time the meet is LJ specific, but we won't turn away any Suzuki. Samurai, Sidekick, Tracker, Vitara, XL7, X90. Just DON'T show up in a Jeep!

PLANNING TO ATTEND:

Smuz: 2 adults, one parrot, 5th wheel trailer, 3 LJ's (Mouser, Wilson, LJ20V).

Sancho: 2 adults, 3 children, 1 LJ (Sancho).

Wasp: 2 adults, 1 child, no LJ. (mebbe Whacker or he'll drive one of mine).
The above is my opinion. It is subject (like all my opinions) to debate, disagreement, rude gestures, and loud raspberries.

Ah, damn. I suppose so as long as you stay at least 100 yards away from the LJ's and agree to take a LOT of abuse.

And ya gotta have a sign on the bronco that says "Suzuki Wannabe".

Put me down as "probable":

Stevec: 1 adult (using the term loosely), no kids, no LJ (wait, maybe I'll drive the XL-7!).

Most likely I'll show up with someone else if I can hitch a ride from a nearby airport, or I'll turn up in a cheap rental car, using the trunk as a beer cooler.

I suspect we will try to show up, on time this year. Only so much can go wrong in the first 900 miles....

2 Adults, 2 "kids", LJ x 2, no parrot.

uh, try again. first of all, i create all sorts of abuse for that bronc. secondly, if we hit Hot Springs at all, i know the trails; that would make me trail leader. thirdly, my bronc is big and heavy (by comparison) and is equiped with a winch......recovery rig (usually "self" recovery).

but, yeah, i'd rather be in a Zuk, but dad'll wanna drive it.

I don't need to try again. Look up "Admin" in yer Funk and Wagnall's :Þ

First of all: Sumhow I already equated you with the term "abuse".

Secondly: No, that DON'T make you trail leader, it makes you a CANDIDATE for trail leader. We'll prolly vote for trail leader.

Thirdly: Zukes don't need no steenkin' recovery!

Ya wanna play sum more?

sure. a person actually needs some experience with the trails at Superlift ORV in order to even be able to find em. their trail maps really blow.... sure, i'll GLADLY let someone else lead (i sure 'nuff don't like to lead a group). i'd just have to have an in-depth meeting with the leader -- possibly including a pre-run. yo, Jimny, wanna meet me in Hot Springs sometime? it's an excuse to go wheeling  (as if a person needs one  )

'round here, I like to lead, especially in the summertime. If you're not leading, you're eatin' someone's dust! Since I'll be without rig, I'll just ride with whoever's leadin'!

Ok looks like we have a date set for the meet, so now with that in mind: Who can make it?

If your rig is NOT ready, come anyway.

At Disney anyone can go out at anytime to go play on the trails. There are hundreds of them, well maybe not that many but very close.

We will do a trail run in the afternoon on Saturday probably at 2:00pm that way everyone should be there by then, we can postpone the time if someone is late. There will be other runs all weekend but we would like everyone to go on the 2pm ride.

Smuz or I will post a new thread of activities.

There will be a raffle and prizes, one will be for the longest distance traveled (not by plane, Sorry stevec).
I'd rather be driving my LJ!

Per the other threads, the meet is July 15-16.

So, who all is going??? So far I see Smuz (9 people, 4 rigs), jimny(1,1), tweeder(2,1), russmehl(4,2), and Lj20Colorado(1,1). Plus me, though I'm just flying in for the weekend. That's 18 people and 9 rigs. Ya gotta do better than that! Our NW meet is gonna kick yer a$$!!! :Rude:
