T-Shirts, dash plaques

Post by stevec »

Well, it's getting close to time to order these... I don't have a final t-shirt design yet, but it'll probably be a similar style to last year's. When it's done, I'll post it up here.

I thought I'd ask the question now: Who will want a t-shirt, and what size? I still have about a dozen leftover from last year's meet (I'll have 'em at this year's meet if you want them!) but would rather not have extras this year. Last year they were $10; they'll probably be the same this year, but I'll probably be using a different printer, so don't quote me on that!

I also still have a few dash plaques left from last year if anyone wants another one.

I'll take at least one for me, maybe two. Could you also make 1 for Connor. About 3T-4T. And Becky will probably want one too. Also I want one more of last years. Large or XL
If at first you don't suceed, try try... to find somebody else to do it for you.

I'll take one, an XL. What do the dash plaques look like? Are they going to be specific to this years NW meet?

I'll have plenty of L and XL shirts I'm sure! If you need something different (i.e. kids sizes) I need to know in advance.

The dash plaques are about 1" x 2" or so, and are specific to the year of the meet. Here in the states they're kind of tradition for some bigger runs. I've got a few left from last year's meet' I'll try to remember to scan one in this weekend. This year's will probably be similar, except year specific, and I'll probably do them on a different color plate. Last year was green, this year I'm thinking yellow or blue.

If ya show up for the meet, I give you a dash plaque for free, so you don't get to complain about it!

No if, it's a go. I'm looking forward to it, I hope a few other Canadians make it.

You bet, I'll be there for sure, my LOA is all approved. I think we should all meet up somewhere and go convoy across the border. Osoyoos would probably work well. I am planning on heading off the Island Thursday night and arriving at the campground Saturday morning.

My first car was a 62 Morris Mini, woody wagon. Great car. Friday and Saturday nights we would go cruising around town and if we saw another Mini we would follow, after a while there would be a whole string of us cruising around. What a hoot that was.

Hey Steve I'll take a large shirt and a 2XL (any smart ass comments and I'll sit on you)

Since the forums seem to be working again, I can post a picture of last year's dash plaque:

Alright, here is the final t-shirt design... I must give my 8yo Amber partial credit for the design! Now, hopefully I can get 'em printed before the meet!

Speaking of WORK (YUCK!) I will not be able to make it to the Northwest meet :pissed: :Crying: I can not get off work even if it is for just two days if I want off for the Midwest meet, and I gots to be at that one! So I spent my plane ticket money on something else (Check out the Samurai section)

Got a few shirts leftover from both this year's and last year's meets if anyone wants them. Just email or PM me. I will also bring a few to the midwest meet, but it may only be for those who have asked for one.

The dash plaques will go out tomorrow to everyone who was at the NW meet this year - sorry I forgot to bring them!

I'll bring 'em to the Midwest meet for you then. You want Large shirts? I have M, L, and XL left for this year, but I may only have L and XL from last year.
