Replacement body-frame mount cushions

I've spent a good while searching for replacements for the rubber-fiber pads that sit between the frame and body ("body mounts", "frame cushions", "body bushings"), but to no avail.

Does anyone have a source for those? Steve says he has none, and I can't find anything like them on the web. Any ideas?

Oh, well that's typical, as soon as I posted I found some along the right lines. I guess they're called "body mounting pads".

A few I found so far:

Has anyone gone through this before and found a good match, or a good DIY hack?

Our local Tractor Supply Co. store carries rubber matting in various thicknesses, and I was able to cut my own from them. They don't have the cloth reinforcement, but they are designed to put on the floors of stock trailers and pickup beds, and are very sturdy.

Baler Belt, It might only be 3/16... I don't remember. It is available in store by the foot. I used it as a deflector flap on my snow plow, and don't think I have any scraps.

Excellent ideas, thank you both.

I'll measure up all the pads that I took off my LJ10 and post the specs here, in case anyone else needs to do this at a later date.

If you cannot find the other stuff try truck mud flaps and cut your own. Exact thickness should not be critical as long as it is close and you replace all of them.

Dunstan,

I bought some Energy Suspension polyurethane pads for body mount pads.
2X2x1/4 with a 7/16ths centre hole. Part number 9.9533

Oh, wonderful. Thank you Paul. That'll probably save me a fair amount of messing around.
