CO gathering..What type of off road driving will be be doing

Post by Kenneth »

I only have a 1988 4x4 carry. I would love to come, but the truck has no skid pans or body protection...Will I be able to follow the crowd given my ground clearance challenged vehicle??

As I understand it, you should have no trouble on the planned route.

Now that you've teased us with a pic, you GOTTA bring that thing to the meet! I would LOVE to see it.

Welcome to the forums, glad to have ya here.
The above is my opinion. It is subject (like all my opinions) to debate, disagreement, rude gestures, and loud raspberries.

Yeah, the route we'll be taking will be pretty mild. There are some side trails, and other trails in the area that are more difficult, but the main focus of this get together is to get together, and do some mild wheeling; nothing that should inflict body damage. I'm not keen on beating up my LJ's (that's what my Samurai is for! )

Well in that case, stevec, bring the Sami too. I will beat mine up with you...

I doubt we will have Kaity's LJ running by then, will bring it, but it will most likly stay on the trailer. We will most likly wheel the main trail with our blazer. If yall insist, I will pull the LJ trailer while wheeling. :yak: Just joking.

I'm bringing two LJ's (LJ10 and LJ20V), and that's all that'll fit on the trailer, so the Samurai is gonna skip this one. Besides, it is an "LJ" get together...

Details. Details.

You have to forgive me, I look for any excuse to rock crawl and beat up the Sami.

Speaking of details, since it sounds like you're going, can you give me the particulars? i.e. # of people, rig(s), camping accomodations (i.e. tent)

You can PM me or email me at stevec@lj10.com. IF you find later that you cannot make it, just let me know!
