pics of wheeling trip and damage from fight with a tree.

Post by zukimoo »

HEre are some pics of our fight with a couple of trees. We had an awesome run and the Lj worked hard all day. I was having some bad vibes on the way home and I've got to check the u-joint and the rear R&P.

The yellow zuke has coils all around, toy's with 456, 2.8 chev and locked front and back.

One obsticle I tried once, failed re-aligned my approach and then got it the second time. He tried about 5 times and was almost over twice.

He was amased at the way the Lj worked...I asked him if he thought that I was full of crap when I was tell him.

He has a nice rig but like I told him that he doens't think before he hits the obsticle.

I went up this hill backwards...I didn't think that the Lj would do it but it went right up.

when we go back out this weekend I'll take some more pics and post them. The guy has some major money tied into it....he pays to get everything built and keeps changing his plans. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know what a wrench is.

yeah actually when I met the guy he kept calling it a Jeep and I told him that if he didn't remember that it was a zuke and start calling it that, that I would steal it from him and park a jeep in it's spot.

He is special.....to say the least. I'm going to take some video on the next run and I'll make sure to be close enough so you guys can hear everytime that he grinds the gears....about every 30 seconds.

He's spent over $25 000 on the thing in the last few years.

He went out and bought the coil kit and then brought it to 3 different shops to get it installed. When I got to the first shop I told him that it wasn't going to make it to the corner much less the next shop. We loaded it on a truck and hauled it and by the time we got to the next shop 2 brackets had broken off.

He keeps changing everything and spends major money on everything. One good thing is that all the old stuff comes my way.

Everytime I see him he gets me to look at the zuke and I always find broken stuff.

I put his first lift on (SOA) and in one week he broke the front springs twice. I've been wheeling for over 10 years and I've never broken one front leaf.

Last weekend he came again and kept bragging that he was still in 2 wheel drive. I asked him how his front tires were spinning if that was the case.
