Re: LJ20v Rescue
I've been watching those. Pretty interesting series! Amazing how they get the recovery rig back there!

Maybe a recovery chopper would have been a lot easier. Cut a few trees out of the way and lift it. Just thinkin' out loud.

Re: LJ20v Rescue
Bring in the choppah! Probably cost prohibitive, I'd imagine. I wonder what the total cost is to bring in these recovery teams? Sounds like the LJ20V is headed to a fab. shop for resto. I hope they post another video after it is completed!
Re: LJ20v Rescue
Ahhh, well at 17-1900 per hour, probably a 4 hour minimum plus any travel time, might be a wee tad pricey. Course that's Canadian so maybe not too bad.
And to think, I used to rent an airplane for 25 bucks an hour when I first started flying, must be getting old.

Re: LJ20v Rescue
I have been following Fab Rats FJ45 build, glad to see they are doing an LJ now as well.
I cannot wait to see finished product for either of those builds.
