Here is a picture of my 1974 LJ50 that I have just acquired. It is
undergoing some minor repairs. Hope to put it on the road soon. Previous
owner tells me that it still has its original pistons and rings! I have
yet to check.

I am Mark from the island of Malta. Congratulations on your excellent site keep up the good effort!!! I have bought an LJ50II which I am planning to restore by the end of June. I am working on its original 2 stroke engine and hoping I’ll be able to pass through the road worthy test without any problems! I am sending you some picture of how the LJ was when I got it, will send you more pictures when ready!

I just purchased this for 200.00 in Newcastle, CO. I have always heard of these but I have never actually seen one. I was told this vehicle has changed hands many times in Marble, CO, previous to that I do not know, it does have what looks like Hawaii registration stickers on the back bumper.
I just sold my 85 LWB and am now going to work on this. I need a tranny so if anybody has any ideas or leads let me know...slammedvw1@hotmail.com.
