Hi my name is Aaron from BC, Canada. I recently bought a 1979 LJ 81 that is completely original and surprisingly nearly everything works. The picture is how I found it, a sort of "in a farmers field" line. I look forward to this project and the great info from the forum.
Hi, here's
David Leclerc, I'm in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada.
And I bought few months ago (June 2003) an '81 SJ-410 soft-top. The engine's perfectly running, but despite the fact it's been owned by an autobody worker for the past 12 years or so, the body is not yet in it's best shape. But being an autobody worker myself, plans are to strip it down to bare-metal, and rebuilt it with sheetmetal only...no body filler...and to get it "showroom-ready". I owned it for 7 months now, and as I'm still only 21, I won't let it go for years to come.

Hi, I just discovered your site and viewed the
visitors rigs. Thought I would send a picture of our LJ80 'project', we
picked it up for spares for our buggy but my son has decided to put it back
on the road. Plans include a Swift GTI motor and SJ413 running gear but
anything could happen before he finishes it. Will send another shot when its
finished.

Hi I'm Bryan from Calgary,Alberta, Canada. Here is my 1979 Suzuki LJ80 that I saved from the auto wrecker. It now has a spring over lift and 5:13 gears and a locker in the rear. Also it rolls on 33" tall tires
Just thought I'd send you some details & pics of
my LJ50 !!
Name : Michael McAuliffe (Sydney - Australia)
Model :1974 LJ50 Soft top
Engine : Original 2 stroke
Klms : 73,000
I bought the vehicle from a guy second hand, I
paid $1000 for it, and have spent $6,500 so far to get it road
worthy (springover, mechanical, engineers certificate, tyres). It has a
springover conversion, with highsteer and is running on 15x7 inch rims with
30 inch BFG Muddies. I've had all the windows replaced, sports steering
wheel, roll cage and rubber floor mats & CB Aerial.
I'm also a member of the Suzuki 4WD Club of NSW
(Australia)
*The club is celebrating it's 30 year
Anniversary in February.
Cheers
Mick (from Oz)
