Who is coming to the Idaho meet?

Post by stevec »

Please post up here if you plan to make it to the meet, as well as your LJ's, tow rig, and accomodations (i.e. staying at Silver City hotel, tent camping, etc.). I will obviously be there - 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 LJ's, my usual truck/camper/trailer combo, assuming I don't blow another transmission!

One concern I still have is the dirt road into Silver City. I don't think I'll have a problem with it, but others might (esp. the Tweedys if they bring the 5th wheel). I'm trying to get more info on the roads in there, and possible other camping spots that are closer to paved roads.

In reviewing the other thread, I see the following as confirmed:

Myself (2 adults, 2 kids, 2 LJ's)
Mom/Stephen (2 adults, 1 LJ)
Smuz (2 adults, 1-2 LJ's)
Tom/Nancy (2 adults, 1 LJ)
Myers (2 Adults, 1 LJ)

Possibles:
Woodchopper
Pidder
Tweedy's
lj20colorado
nickademuss

I'm also expecting Dion to be there with his LJ10. He hasn't posted up here yet, but lives around Boise, and he knows the area (i've been Pm'ing him for info on the area) I'll also shoot idahopaul a message - he is just a bit north of there.

Unfortunately, my wife cannot get holidays at that time, so we will be unable to attend the Idaho meet. Hope everyone has a great time.

I may not have gone where I intended to go. But I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Dion - Glad you can make it! The official dates are July 21-23rd (Saturday - Monday). Sounds like most of us will be staying at River Haven.

Phil - It'll be good to see you and Edie again!

I think you can scratch Tom & Nancy. Talked to Nancy via PM and she said they can't make it.
The above is my opinion. It is subject (like all my opinions) to debate, disagreement, rude gestures, and loud raspberries.

I think Larry mentioned that, thanks. Bummer that they can't make it this year. :-(

Just talked to Dion - he's got a nice trail lined up for us with about a dozen water crossings. :D :D :D
