Used original LJ 20 tires

Post by Myers »

Free for the taking: If anyone coming to Disney can make use of these I will bring them with me. Two original tires/tubes for LJ20. Solid casing, good tread, LJ was stored in barn but they are weathered. I am going to discard if no one wants them . Let me know.

Hey Jimny, I'm bringing that set of LJ wheels and tires that I traded you for the Sammi wheels that are now on Sleepy.

Since at least two of them are bald, I thought either you or I could use Meyer's tires.

We'll fight about 'em at the meet. I'm bringing my brass knucks and a water gun!

I will bring the tires and my wife can bring her knucks and loaded dice if that will help and you promise not to use them against us. Be advised that she does use pewter knucks cause brass was too heavy.

If you guys are gonna be so entertaining, maybe I'll bring you some junky tires to fight over...

But I think most of mine have some serious weathering. If yer really interested, I could be convinced to drag some along. No tubes. I think.

Sorry to disappoint all of you (although I do want to see a set of pewter knucks!) but I will let Smuz have at them, I will be be buying a set (5) of new tires that will go on Dakota so I will have plenty of spares for Ranger.

Smuz I will be in Joplin when I leave out for Disney Friday morning, maybe we can convoy to the meet. I'll PM ya.

I just picked up a set of the Firestone NDT's from Coker last weekend at a show (ordered them in advance = free shipping! :D ) They're nice, I like them better than the ones I got a couple of years ago, which didn't have any brand name on them. I just wish they had Bridgestones!

Prices are still pretty good, though they have gone up a bit. I paid under $400 for four tires and four tubes, including Washington's 9% sales tax. I think the tires are around $70-75 each. The free shipping is a great deal if there is a show near you; it saved me over $100!

There's some question about me, also.

I hurt my back pretty bad yesterday and today I'm miserable and can't hardly move. I'm taking oxycodone but it ain't doing much for the pain and I damn sure can't drive while taking it.

I got 5 days to get this thing healed up before the meet. Hope it does.

Yup, it sure is. I was down in the back that time, too. I WILL make it to this meet. How much wheeling I do depends on the back, I guess.

Damn, you'll do anything to avoid being shown up by Sammies. :))):
Make sure that you take some anti-inflammatory along with the oxycodone.

Are you coming down on Friday?
