LJ's Maiden Voyage

Post by redsnodog »

We will be postng pics on the project part of the site but had to share this!
My wife Carol and I entered an ATV Derby this past Sunday[about 35 miles]with our freshly "finished" lj10. Peoples response to it was unreal. We got standing ovations, hundreds of thumbs up,hoots and hollers, questions, and compliments. It was overwhelming. The picture below was posted on the derby's website and titled: "The Coolest Suzuki at the Derby". There was over 1000 ATV's registered that day. What a blast!!!!!

Here's his "project" thread:

Tires are 235's. One thing people tend to forget is that Suzuki's, especially LJ's, have smaller diffs than other rigs. An LJ with 235's is close to stock height, but has about the same ground clearance as a Samurai with 31's, or a Jeep with 33's, but a lower center of gravity, shorter wheelbase, etc.
