I don't know... I just wasn't in the mood to lay down some serious nasty. Maybe 'cause I don't have enough confidence in my LJ and my rusty driving abilities. Smuz, obviously, has enough for all of us.... :))): :))):

I was nice too, here is what I wrote.

Oh yeah, I will have "Ranger" there and it will out show some of the LJ grand babies (Samurai's).

Up Yours! LJ's can climb steep hills, they can certainly climb up yours!

Hmm... Define "real group". Do we have monthly meetings? No. We're scattered over six states (plus some strays). We're a "virtual" group that meets online and in person at events and activities, just like you guys.

We were invited to JOIN you. If we're going to be ostracized, I might as well stay home. I'm going because I like LJs, and I'd like to see what they can do. I'd like to play with you guys; I don't think of it as a competition.

Yes, you are invited to JOIN us. Won't be any ostracizing. (I don't have an ostrich and he wouldn't let me ostracize him if I did)

KCZuks and LJ10.com have the same structure and organization. None. Just a bunch of people that like the same things.

This is all in FUN, people, keep that firmly in mind.

We're just playing, please don't take offense. Issuing a challenge like that is just a way to get y'all out there, but we all know (well all of us except tweeder maybe  ) it's just good natured fun. From what I've seen, most of the rigs in your group are pretty well built, so in reality you should be able to go more places than a stock (or fairly stock) LJ, but a lot of us like wheeling our LJ's, seeing how far we can go in a stock 4x4, and it's always more fun in a group. And what better group to hang out with than a bunch of Zuks?

If you are truly offended, just remember...

If you re-read my post (carefully - be sure to sound out the big words, and ask your dad if you need help!), you'll understand.

At this point I'm probably not going to make it out to this one. Now, if Smuz still had his ostrich...

From I 44 to Pensacola Dam between Langley and Disney

Post by Myers »

You can get off I-44 at Exit 283 (Big Cabin). then south on US Highway 69 to Adair, then east on OK Highway 28 to the Pensacola Dam. (Note: 69 is a smooth 4-lane but has a few chug holes that can surprise you)

Here are directions from Jimny from this point on.
There are two long bridges (dam's) and in-between them is a small fire
station, down that road next to the fire station is the camp site where we
will be.

Larry

Glad you are coming....

I think Hogan's website has a little better directions then mine. That fire house is small and some people have missed it, since it is NOT the only building in-between the two dams. The "Dam Hotel" is across the street, you can get a dam room there if you want one.

Welcome Vagabond to the forums and hope to see you at the meet. If I had time and my double trailer ready I would be bringing my Samurai to the meet as well.

We need more Suzuki's at the meet to make it more fun.

Maybe he doesn't, I haven't had/took the time to look over his site.

I can put up a sign/banner out by the road if you want so you/anyone can find the place.
