The meet will be sometime in the second half of July. I've been waiting for the Relic Run dates to be posted, but nothing yet. Got the family in town this weekend, so we'll look at our calendars.

I think we need to get this nailed down, and I guess I'll just hope I can swing the Relic Run. How about the week of July 18-22? That is Monday through Friday; we usually put the meet at 2-3 days, but the last couple of years just about everyone has been there for the whole week. For this one, we'll make the meet all five days, but people can choose to arrive later in the week, or leave early if they wish.

I have to schedule time off as well, But because of a trip back to TN, I will only be there a day or two, It would be nice to know the days of the biggest turn outs, I want to get pics of the biggest heard of LJ's the USA has ever seen! Or is it a flock, gaggle, kit, crowd, or litter?
Not sure on that one :-)

I am going to try to have Yoda ready for the trip, I am going to order the Petronics setup and test it, change out or fix the rear drive shaft (it was cut and welded), and try to get my fuel tank situated. (posting on that one)

Yes, the dates are firm - July 18-22 (Monday through Friday). Past meets have only been 2-3 days, but for the last couple of years, everyone has been there for the whole week. If you were to pick only 1-2 days to be there, I would suggest Tuesday & Wednesday.

And I believe it is called a cluster of LJ's...

Whenever we decide to do it. It will very likely depend on the weather - if we get a sunny day early in the week, and the forecast calls for thunderstorms later in the week, we'll so it when it is sunny. It'll also depend on when everyone is there. Most of us will be there all week, so if nickademusss is the only person who only makes part of the meet, we'll be sure to take a group shot while he is there.

We also usually do a potluck dinner one night; we'll probably do that Tuesday or Wednesday evening, again depending on the weather.

Does anyone have any ramps? I think I can get my LJ in the back of a U-haul here because of a bank I can back the truck up to and drive it in, but not sure about finding the right place in CO...

There will be a few of us at the meet who are trailering their LJ's and will have our own ramps - I'm sure we can get your LJ unloaded!

My ramps are close to 5 ft long. I usually find a hill or low spot for the trailer.

A story on loading/loading.
Driving to our motel after arriving at Moab for the 2009 meet I spotted a large tire shop with a small hill at the back of the parking area. As it was Sunday I did not have to have permission to use the hill for unloading. Ready to load up after the meet the tire shop was open so I asked two men working in the back if I could use their hill to load up. "Talk to the boss was the reply" so I went inside to the office/display area. The boss man hardly looked at me and did not say a word and continued to stay busy on other things. Thinking about how I looked, straw hat, bib overalls, big belly, etc, etc, I removed the hat as it was about the only choice for improvement. No help. I finally interrupted him doing his thing and asked him if I could use his hill for loading up.
He stated loudly, “Get outside” so I went outside and he followed. Pointing to Miss Alice he demanded “Open the hood on that thing” to which I complied. He looked at the engine and started laughing saying “I have heard stories coming in from the trails of you guys having two cylinder two cycle engines and I did not believe it".

We spent about 30 minutes as he called other people over to take a look. Then he said we could use his hill anytime.

:))): I get that reaction when the Autozone people ask me what I am looking for, I always say a 1973 Suzuki, and their response is , they didnt make any that year, and I say look in the parking lot, not everything is in your little computer.
