Last minute throwdown prep

Post by tweeder »

we've got electrical gremlins to chase in the green open (Cheyenne). running lights = blown fuse

tires need tubes and mounted on Cheyenne

she also needs some sort of bumper....

i'm gonna hafta try to call for a favor to get lockers in since i banged up my wrenchin' hand.... can't get the thirds out without tearing it back open.

sliders are definately a no-go in the amount of time left, so the lack of a locker may be a good thing if i can't get stupid

the red open (Georgia) just needs the cooling system put back together after installing (not replacing -- it didn't have one) a t-stat and replacing the 35 year old heater hoses. then she'll be ready to load up and roll out.

and three nights to get alla this crap done? yikes.....

so, how's everybody else coming?

i really should be out there working..... damn this finger.... :-(

Ahh, sorry to hear about your boo-boo. Image Without lockers, the Sammies will eat you for lunch. Image

All I've gotta do is fix a flood light and install a couple of rock lights. You fellows aren't afraid of the dark are you? Image

I love night crawlin!!!

I don't have lockers in the front of LJ either, the Sami's are going to reign! :ohno: It will still be fun.

How many from your club will be coming?

My List

I need to re-arch the driver side springs. I will do a How-To while I am doing this.

Do some body work... oh wait, that will be wasting my time.

Sew three sets of seat covers.

I think that's about it, I hope I'm not forgetting anything.
I'd rather be driving my LJ!

Well, for once I'm ready. Just need to load Wilson and Sleepy on the trailer tomorrow and throw in the camping gear. Then I'm ready.

I just re-arched the driver side leaf springs on Ranger and hammered out some dents in the hood and a couple other places, so I am now ready all I have to do tomorrow is double check my camping gear and go get ice and beer, oh and some water and I'll be ready for when Russ, Smuz and I all meet up in a little town called Riverton Kansas, right on Route 66.

Russ just called and he is 4 hours out so I'm going to head on out of here right after lunch and head towards Disney.

I think I'm probably the only one that hasn't left to go, I'm sure Tweeder has already left since he has a 4 hour drive.
