well I just looked at the Distance guide for the 2007 event and it read 2914 miles....wow....kinda hard to do that far. If you guys ever come more north-east I would love to make the trip. I live in Moncton NB, Canada and it's in the south-east part of Canada. I'm about 4-6 hours for the US border but far from where you guys are getting together.

I'd drive 1500 miles or so..not in the LJ...the girlfriend would kill me. My record for a Suzuki drive is about 1000km's...there and back in three days. 2000km's in a zuke is hell.

Oregon was brought up a few times, and we've been talking about taking a weekend trip down there this summer. Anyone up for a weekend at Sand Lake? We could do a "mini meet", probably later in July or August. I know Suzy mentioned it, as did Jr. I think. What do you all think?

Another option is Seal Beach. It's farther south, but on the beach, as opposed to just "near the beach". Probably have to pay for a CG though.
