Thermal Decoking & Distributor Repair...

Post by Jimny »

"Myers" sent us two Howto's on "Thermal Decoking of a LJ exhaust system" (how to burn out the oil residue etc in your exhaust system) and "Disassembly (and reassembly) of a LJ20 Distributor"

I'd rather be driving my LJ!

Larry did an awesome job on both writeups!

Just be careful of the toxic fumes if you try decoking your exhaust!

Jimny, thanks for posting those! Who knows when I'd ever be able to get around to it!

Thanks for this terrific how to.

I wouldn't have had the confidence to do this job without reading this article.

I made up an adapter and gave it a go last weekend, it worked great.

Thanks
Cheers John
