Disney, Oklahoma or Gruber ORV park (Braggs, OK) Fall 2016

Post by Jonny Zuk »

Hi,
My name is Jon Hall aka Jonny Zuk and I'm a Zukaholic. :suz:

After hearing rumors for the past 10 years about a Suzuki LJ owner near my hometown of Ponca City, Oklahoma, I finally had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Myers. 8)

I am not a LJ owner (yet), but I am a longtime (28 years) Samurai owner. I have several Samurais-bone stock to RUF/YJ rear, SPOA, locked F/R, 33" MTs, 1600 16-valve, low gears, etc to everything in between. Therefore, I can bring a Samurai that is appropriate to the trail and task at hand. :))): (I find that it is sometimes more fun to take a mildly modified Samurai on the trails versus something that is built up.)

I live in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, and I was hoping that I could assemble a group of Zukaholics this fall to run the eastern Oklahoma trails. Specifically, the Disney or the Gruber ORV areas. I was thinking of running some mild-moderate trails rather than crawling in the rock piles beneath the Disney dams or the Gruber gulches. That is, trails that I think that stock LJs or mildly modified Samurais would be well suited to running.

I now have my very own LJ20, so at least one LJ would be there. :D
