Nice, more pictures are always good. Rich should have a bunch too once he has time to go through them all.

So far Norm is the only person to send me the info I need for Al, just a reminder to the rest of you that I still need that.

Grant, if you could send me info on your drive train swap and also your fuel injection swap, that be great too.

Wow, it looks like you guys had a lot of neat trail running up there. Just don't have that kind of trails around here. By the way, just what are all those tall green things in the background of the photos? :D

We call them trees. But the whitetail that hide in there aren't nearly as big as the ones you have in texas. Norm

I'm back in the land of endless rain now :-(

Thanks for organising a great day out, it puts our off roading over in this country to shame, a whole day on one trail is a bit of a novelty for us in England! Apparently while we were all freezing out bits off at the top of the mountain, it was around 30° down in Kelowna, but was well worth the trip up the last section, pity the others had to leave. I have a few pics but didn't take as many as I should have, I'll post up a few later.

Well, if it makes you feel any better it was raining here (Vancouver) earlier today. And also, to get a whole day of wheeling on one trail is not as common as that trail may have made it seem. I was just disappointed I didn't have time to properly get to know you, as it seems I was either changing my tire, wheeling, or loading rigs the whole time you were around. Hopefully we will get the chance to do more wheeling when you move over here.

That said, I don't know if anybody is interested, but my dad and I have decided to do the whipsaw trail October 17th. We're planning on leaving early Saturday (6:30) and doing the trail, planning on getting off the hill late afternoon/evening. Get back to me if you want to come. Glen, I think it is probably best that you sit this one out. :poke:

Well I'm sorry I missed this one.

But work has been a bit crazy lately, I hope things calm down but it looks like thats not going to happen for a while. unless the rumors are true that they ar looking at cutting 40% of the positions, then I may have lots of free time, just no paycheque. :ohno: :x

Yeah thanks for nothing Grant :pissed:

We'll have to do it again next summer when I actually have a rig to drive and the twins are big enough to leave with Grandma.

Yeah, Glen posted that in the "word up" section as he got the mag last Friday already. Go figure, I live in the town the mag is made in and I still don't have my copy! lol

Pretty cool though!

So being as I'm not working today I ran all over town looking for a copy and the only place that I could find it was Overwaitea and it was the old copy so will have to wait for this issue to hit the stores.

Chapters carries the magazine, don't know if they have the new one yet.

Looked in chapters but they didn't have any, tried a bunch of drug stores and 7-11. Only place I found was overwaitea. Norm

I got the mag on my dads b-day, so I called my mom and told her to check the mail. She looked, but it's still not in there two days later. I think it is the first time I have ever seen an lj in any magazine!

The picture of my truck is flattering fortunatly, and only shows the side I painted over some of the rust.

I checked Save-on-foods (overwaitea) and chapters this morning and nether of them had it out yet. There was a stock boy at chapters putting out new mags but I didn't have time to wait and see if it was there. I know 7-11 often carries the mag as well.

Hey Norm, it might be faster to just go to Al's house and get a copy! haha

I noticed your sami was up for sale a little while ago, what have you been up to?

Yeah finally got my copy! Nice write up and pics. Recently sold my samurai that I had on that trip. Almost finished my new rig. 87 samurai tin top, with transplanted nissan sd22 diesel and 5 speed. Spring over axle lift, jeep yj springs all around and new homemade bumpers. Tell me what you think. Norm
