First dutch lj meet

Post by Frankenstein »

Well, tomorrow we are having the first lj meeting with the Dutch lj80 forum. It is still kind of small, most lj's are undergoing a restoration at the moment but we are expecting to have around 10 lj's showing up. I will post some pics when we get back!

10, kinda small ? You kidding thats a good size crowd of LJ's. Course it kinda helps when you can get anywhere in your country on a quarter tank of gas.

We had a great day, nice weather and 7 lj's showing up! Not bad for a first meet. Here is a link to some pics: Almere 2007
Cool to see the faces behind the nicknames and the cars!

Looks like a good time was had. Some nice rigs there, I like the fender flares on the light blue 80.

The open blue metallic one? That has a polyester body on it! We had 2 polyesters today and it looks really good! They even have the lines on the doorsills where the metal parts normally meet. Looks like a metal body but no more rustproblems. If they just were a little bit cheaper...Hmmm... :?

Hmmm, interesting... Early spring, or late spring?
