:? Bloody Heat's killin me ... 45 in the shade, least I got the air con going in the shed, keeps it down in the low 30s ... might have to forego any more painting and just throw it together

I see a trend here ...

With the old Patrol' I'd change the oil, clean the plugs and air filter before a trip...

... seems LJ owners lift the body off and do major stuff before a trip ...

hi all
went and checked what i was told was true they have blocked off the roads in and shifted large amount of dirt onto to tracks
started ringing the councils involved ,rang barossa council and they say it council of light and l asked what was happening and why they where blocked off and the office lady took my number and said that she would get works manager to ring me [9.45am] no calls all day so i rang at 16.00pm and was told still in meeting unable to talk ,more like asleep and didt want to wake up the poor little darlings, they get grumpy otherwise so i said i will be ringing on friday and i want a answer to why it not in road closures in local paper, so it looks like they might have won ,but its really crown land as my boss said and they cant close it without placing notices in local papers
my fight is not over yet

8) ... so I'm all ready to go. need to do a bit of a repair job on the towbar of the Vit. Head for the bench grinder, with the protective eye wear and all, and a metal sliver cruises up between the edge of the goggles and the bridge of my nose into my eye. :-( So I can't see crap for the next 24hrs :pissed:

Hope all went well boys....

i didnt make it to the meet :-(
the day before the meet i was meant to get my exhaust made up but ran short of time :pissed:
i would have got defected if i drove the LJ all the way to nurioopta without a proper exhaust.
Sorry it has taken me this long to get back to all of you

Nick tells me it was "greenies ... and maybe not quite legally ... My wife works for the government department in charge of all "Crown Lands", so she's now on the case.
Can't wait to hear about the meet!
... didn't actually eventuate, what with me taking a real close lok at a little pieca of metal, and Tom not having an exhaust, poor Nick was left on his own :-(

Oh too bad! I know how that goes though, I missed last years meet that I've been wanting to do for years and years. So this year I will go to two of them to make up for it.
