Looks like we will be giving away a pair of LJ seats, newly recovered. Not sure what we will do to award them, we will figure that out at the meet. They will be given away Sunday at 9:00am. Must be present to win!

I will post the pics of the seats in the near future, as they are not done yet.

I have collected a lot of door prizes from the local parts stores here, stuff for autos, hats etc.

We will probably have more door prizes then LJ owners at the meet. 8)

Saturday night we will have a cookout with grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and chips. Anyone is welcome to bring side dishes but not mandatory.

If no one objects, I think I will change to Saturday night when the seats will be given away. Since that is when all the door prizes, games, etc will be. If ANYONE has an objection to changing it to Saturday night please speak up.

BTW: One of the seats is finished and it looks very very good. The other one should be Done this coming Saturday. I am using better foam then what Suzuki used, they should feel a lot better. I don't think I will have any kits ready by then, I have to make another set for my LJ20 they are shot.

The seats are done! I will take a picture of them sometime today and post them on here.

I'm going to make a couple bikini tops now, I'll make as many as I can with what is left of the top material we have.

If ya don't have room, I'll be just as willing to store them for you as you were to store my hardtop. hehehehehe.

BTW: the hard top made it home without a prob. I was worried about the straps and kept an eye on it the whole way).

Glad to hear it. It'd be a shame to lose something like that - it's the only one I've seen up close!

Now if you can get the A/C finished on Mouser and leave that top on for the meet, I'll be just fine! :P

Since you're letting me stay in the trailer, AND drive Mouser, I'm just gonna shut up.

Yeah, it really is. I didn't like it much at first, but the more I look at it the better I like it. It IS one of a kind. And it is suprisingly roomy inside, doesn't cramp you a bit.

I will keep everyone posted on the kits.

The seat foam in the only thing that will take me a while to make.

If anyone still has good foam on their seats I can sew together the material and send them to you and all you have to do is slip them over your exsiting foam etc.

I will take some pics of how to stretch the fabric etc.

It took about $75.00 in materials and I'm thinking about $75.00 labor. So $150.00 for foamless kits. *Prices are subject to change!*

That is not including the foam.

I won't know the price of the full kits untill I get one made up.

One caveat about the trailer. The A/C compressor went out last summer. I put a new one in but haven't really tested it much yet. I hope it works ok. If not, there's a pretty good exhaust fan, so we won't really die.

That's all I need for the V. If I win, can I just take the covers off and you keep the seats? It'd be a real pain to bring the seats home with me! Better yet, I'll trade Smuz for one of his rear seats! :D

Steve if you win, I will do another giveaway and give the seats away again to someone else then I will make you another set and mail them to you.

Still sounds a lot better than a tent to me!

Our camper has a Fantastic Fan, and as small as the camper is, that fan will circulate all the air through in about 3 minutes, so we didn't bother with A/C. Coming through Utah last year was the first time we ever felt it would do us any good, but even then it cooled off enough in the evening that we slept fine.
