What shall I bring????

Post by Smuz »

OK. we're down to decision time again.
I can either bring my camper and ONE LJ, or I can bring both LJ's and stay in a motel (there ain't gonna be no more freaking tents THIS time!).

Stevie, IS there gonna be a motel available?

So we gotta poll between Mouser and Wilson.
The above is my opinion. It is subject (like all my opinions) to debate, disagreement, rude gestures, and loud raspberries.

That, ladies and gentle men, is how it's done. Give the man a hand.

I didn't get a Christmas card from you last year, so you pretty much know my vote!

The nearest motel is in Cle Elum, about 10 miles away. I've never checked, but I know there are a few there.

If you only bring one LJ, bring the one that runs the best. There will be quite a few stock LJ's there, so Wilson won't get left behind, as long as he runs!

I've heard there's a new loop trail being worked on, that'll be open by Memorial Day. I missed it at our Labor Day run last year, but I'll try it at Memorial Day this year. From what I've been told, it's not too difficult, but very tight (in other words, perfect for a stock LJ!)

Ok, Wilson's loaded in Xena's bed and Mouser's on the trailer. I borrowed a much bigger tent this year. Packing begins in an hour or so. I'll take a pic of this silly looking rig tonight.

We plan to leave early Wed. morning and get there Fri. afternoon. We haven't managed to borrow any sleeping bags, so we're bringing lotsa blankets. What's the weather like there, Steve?

Right now in Seattle, it's partly cloudy, and upper 60's. The forecast for this weekend in Cle Elum (the nearest town) is highs in the upper 70's, lows in the mid 50's. Liberty is heading up in the mountains, so figure around 50 at night, upper 70's during the day. Much nicer than last year! :D
