Extreme Bends makes LJ80 body parts

Re: Extreme Bends makes LJ80 body parts
Do a search through the forms for extreme bends or EBI. There are a few different threads with people commenting on them. No glowing recommendations that I've seen. They get the panels from a place in Colombia, so if you order, don't expect them for a few months, and don't expect them to fit without trimming/modification.
The only difference between an ordeal and an adventure is your attitude

Don't have any experience with these parts but here is the place that extreme bends buys them: http://www.citroa.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Extreme Bends makes LJ80 body parts
Are there other companies making LJ80 body parts? I have to admit, there is no way I could even get close to creating a new panel or patch one.

I think this is the only other company that makes repairpanels for the lj80: http://www.autoblechteile.de/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I have to warn you, the quality is pretty bad. I used one piece to repair my rear wheelwell and it took a lot of work to make it fit, but it was easier that making the whole piece from scratch.

it's getting very hard ... and very .. very ... crazy expensive to get body panels .....
over on the east side of the atlantic every now and then if you are , should i say lucky ?
you can put your hands on factory labelled panels .
germany and holland are the last few places you can hope for these jewels .
i had luck 16 years ago in greece but now ?!
or start a class of body panel master fabricator !
let us know if you find a solution .

Re: Extreme Bends makes LJ80 body parts
well what do you expect the panels are made in Columbia, but unfortunately its the only reproductions panels available. I know the guy that owns Extreme Bends Incorporated, I asked him about why it takes so long for the orders to go through, It is because he has to wait for a minimum order before he can get the panels made and sent out here. So the sooner we all order panels the sooner people will get them because he can finally place an order and get them made. I was going to get rockers for my lj myself to replace my current ones made of patches and bondo.
