LJ80 alternator

Post by akhummer »

Is the SJ410 alternator the same as the LJ80? Is there a part # or reference to make sure I get the right one from my Parts store? They hate not being able to find anything in the computer.

Thanks for the help.

It will bolt up to the engine, but I don't know if the electrical connector is the same. I found one crossreference in a partsbase, so it should work.

You CAN put a Samurai alternator on an LJ80 with minimal difficulty.

The above is my opinion. It is subject (like all my opinions) to debate, disagreement, rude gestures, and loud raspberries.
