Here is a drawing of one

You would have to find one used most likely, you can still get the brushes for them new.

Is the one on the LJ you are looking at gone completely?

Not the whole unit itself, just the regulator/starter

Thanks,
Not the main unit what I call the dynastart unit, but rather the small box that controls the voltage regulator and the starting functions ??
:?: :?: Thx. Jim & Marilyn

Oops my bad. I do that often.

Here is the section you need for that If it isn't working sometimes you can file/clean up the points in it and it will work just fine.

To be honest, I'm not sure if the voltage regulator is available or not. I was quoted a price of $140, but when I tried to order one last fall they said no longer available. I called again last week for someone, and they still came up as available, but are backordered in all the North American warehouses. The guy I tried to order from last fall was a little flaky (I don't work with him anymore), so they could be available still. I think I might just order one and see if it shows up! Probably won't know anything until after the meet though. I have a few used ones, but I'm not sure how to bench-test them. I might just put each of them in the LJ10 one day and test them that way.
