Potluck Dinner

Post by stevec »

Who's interested? I thought this would be fun for Tuesday night (Wednesday could be a long day, driving the loop). I'll spring for the meat, but I don't have room for a decent sized grill. Others can just bring salads, sides, or dessert. I know a lot of people are tent camping, so it may be difficult, but if you're interested, post here what you can bring. If no one can bring a grill, we can always just have a big wienie roast at the campfire!

Assuming I can keep the 'frig cold, we can do some salad, tossed w/ ranch, 1000 island and Italian dressing. Maybe some coleslaw too. We will likely cheat and get bagged and shredded greens. I don't feel like packing the food processor....
It would be neat to find some corn on the cob... I'll try to remember to pack a big pot.

Oh yeah, how many mouths do we expect.....

I think it sounds good. So who will be bringing something? I can bring whatever, dessert, chips, maybe a patato salad or something like that.

Sounds like it's a go then. I'll bring meat - chicken, some brats... Sounds like Russ is bringing a salad. If everyone else can bring something (potato or pasta salad, chips, dessert, etc.) it should be good. I'm just bringing a little gas grill - if someone can bring a bigger grill/barbeque, that'd be great! If not, maybe we can get a few little ones going at once.

I can bring two little gas grills, and we are thinking about the food, so I'll get back in a day or so.
