Pigi's lj80
HI!!! i'm Pigi, from modena, italy...
i bought my lj80 when i was 15 years old, and i've completely restored it with the help of my father and my uncle....
now i'm 18 and i'm studying for the the driving-licence....
now my lj80 is metallic blue and it has samurai front disk brakes, a special soft-top, special bumpers, omp racing seats and belts, and other little optionals that make it a very very special lj80...
i'm sure there is not an other lj like mine in the world!!!
the next works i want to do on it are the sj410 engine and gearbox, but i've no money now....
my friends say that i'm crazy, but everyone sees my lj fall in love with it...
i liked lj80 since i was born, my father had got one, and it made me crazy!!
if i can, i put a photo....
sorry for the english, i know it's not correct, but i wish you understand what i wrote!!

That car looks cool!!! We all understand why you like lj's so much.
You say that you want to change the engine and gearbox for an sj410 engine and gearbox. You know that you can use the lj80 gearbox on the sj410 engine??? If you use the sj410 gearbox you have to cut a hole in the transmissiontunnel... It could be that you already know this, but just to be sure... IT IS a great looking car

thank you frankenstein...
yes, i know that i have to do a hole in the tunnel, but the lj80 gearbox isn't very good in my opinion...the sj410 gearbox has more precision in shifting gears...
i have completely checked my gearbox, but it has got too much "movement" ( i don't know the exact word in english) when i put gears....
but i can keep the lj transfert case! or it is not correct?
i've got a question: where can i find a suspension kit for the lj80?
