We picked it up in Pheonix, Az. last year and only used...

This looks do-able. The configuration I'm imagining is: 1. Header: A 3/8" header plate with the 1 5/8 tubes coming down at an angle, smoothly converging into one 1 5/8 pipe. 2. First div. cone: incorporate a 90 deg bend into this to point towards the rear. 3. The rest is as described. Notes and...

Here's wot I found on a quick search: 1. Venicles registered in any state are OK. 2. Vehicles not registered in yer home state are OK on county roads and OHV trails if ya buy a $15 OHV permit. http://www.co.blm.gov/gjra/ohvregistration.htm It looks like all I gotta do is buy a permit for Mouser from...

Kansas has nothing like a "conditional title". Ya gotta have a valid, signed and notarized title to the vehicle AND a signed and notarized bill of sale with the purchase price. All I've got for Mouser is a signed title that is dated 1986. Kansas iz gonna take one look at that and say "...

Yes, tintops are of course exempt from the rollbar requirement. (Removeable hardtops are not though) And all vehicles must be street legal, which includes seatbelts for each passenger! Yer gonna haffa define "street legal" for me. Two of mine don't have license plates and aren't titled, a...

Works for me, with the exception of Sancho. He's a tintop, so he oughta be ok without one. That said, we're still gonna try to get one in there before the meet, because there'll be 2 small kids riding in back (with GOOD seatbelts). Now, I still gotta come up with a parking brake rig for Mouser!!! I ...

I think they do, but I actually haven't looked for sure. Smuz, you've got both rigs, don't you? To the best of my knowledge, they do. Shane's '89 Sidekick are the same as my '87 Sammi and I've got another set from an '87 Sammi to replace the auto hubs on my '96 X90. Since those all interchange, I c...

Front axle parts interchangeability

It's been my experience, from repairing an LJ80 with LJ10 parts, that all of the front axle parts, from the birfields out, are interchangeable (if not identicle) between LJ10's and LJ80's. I'm assuming that LJ20's and LJ50's will be too. This gives a bit more options to repairing earlier LJ's where ...
