Re: Nuts & Bolts
you can put a grade 8.8 bolt on the backing plate holder with no problem. I'd put the grade 10.9 but the other one will hold just fine. As long as the bolts stay tight they won't break. Bolts are at risk when they get loose and stuff starts to move around the trouble starts.

re:
CAn you post a pic of a top like the one that you would be making? I'd probably take one. Getting one made around here would cost the same and probably not work very good.

re:
I tried for hours to pull out this little stump last summer and never got anywhere. I tried to dig it out with no luck. I went out to the rental store and rented a stump grinder and it took care of the stump in about 5 minutes. Some of the neighbours came out and I told them $30 for the little ones ...

He's spent over $25 000 on the thing in the last few years. He went out and bought the coil kit and then brought it to 3 different shops to get it installed. When I got to the first shop I told him that it wasn't going to make it to the corner much less the next shop. We loaded it on a truck and hau...

yeah actually when I met the guy he kept calling it a Jeep and I told him that if he didn't remember that it was a zuke and start calling it that, that I would steal it from him and park a jeep in it's spot. He is special.....to say the least. I'm going to take some video on the next run and I'll ma...

when we go back out this weekend I'll take some more pics and post them. The guy has some major money tied into it....he pays to get everything built and keeps changing his plans. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know what a wrench is.

HEre are some pics of our fight with a couple of trees. We had an awesome run and the Lj worked hard all day. I was having some bad vibes on the way home and I've got to check the u-joint and the rear R&P. The yellow zuke has coils all around, toy's with 456, 2.8 chev and locked front and back. ...

picked up a scrap LJ for parts the other day...
A guy came into the karting shop the other day and was looking for a kart seat. He told me that he had a zuke t-case to trade. He came in the next day with the case and as soon as I saw the drive shaft sticking out of the bag, I knew it was LJ. So the case was good and is now bolted in my 413k proje...

I was going to lift and build the LJ but have since decided against it. I've got the zuki truck and the zukimoo that are going to get done sometime in the next 200 years.......hopefully less and then I can wheel that and take out the Lj from time to time.

I live in Moncton NB, Canada and it's in the south-east part of Canada. I'm about 4-6 hours for the US border b...

Jeep guys laughing at the LJ.....then we're surprised
Well last weekend I organised an outing with some of the local guys from www.nboffroadclub.com and we went out to play. When I got to the meeting point there was a Toyota truck with 33's locked in the rear, three Jeeps with 33's to 35's and me with the Lj with 30's. When I was putting in the 10 litr...

LJ caught fire........minimal damage
Well I was doing some body work and they say when welding on the body to make small passes to reduce the amount of heat for warping....this also helps with flare-ups from heat..... I looked out of the mask and saw a little bit of flames....then welded a little more then I could see lots of flames......
