A dented front bumber was all, happened at the big rut where Steve had some wheel up action. Most of us had some fun at that spot.

What a great time!!!! We had a blast, big thanks to Steve (and others) for setting it up. Everyone did a great job for the potluck dinner, what a spread. I was quite surprised with the capability of the stock rigs, especially the two strokes (still can't get over that sound). We put on over 1600 km'...

I agree, I've seen a few drunk wheelers, not cool. Two of them were crawling out from their rolled truck when I came around the corner.

Re: Potluck

I think I'll skip the Copper River Salmon (at $22/lb), but will bring some meat to grill. Who wants to bring something? Salmon's an easy one for me to bring (I'll have to look into getting it across the border though). I'm lucky to live in an area that has many runs of chinook and sockeye, ...

Well, somewhere between framing, drywalling, painting, floors, drinking beer :D etc........I need to have another look, or pull, the tranny in my SJ. Still leaks like a stuck pig. I have a spare if that one is toast.

I'll take one, an XL. What do the dash plaques look like? Are they going to be specific to this years NW meet? If ya show up for the meet, I give you a dash plaque for free, so you don't get to complain about it! No if, it's a go. I'm looking forward to it, I hope a few other Canadians make it.

Some time ago, what now seems like an eternity, I picked up a hard top for you Mr. Smuz. Maybe now you can get it and I can get it out of my yard. I can throw it in the back of my 81 and bring it.

Yes, looks like that area where I would pass through. I had it up to 90kph, little high rpm's but not too bad. I checked on yahoo maps/driving directions and that was the distance it gave me, not too far.

372 miles to Liberty from me, better than 1493 miles to the 2005 meet. Really hope to be there. I'm counting on you being there, with the pink slip for your LJ81! Actually, I thought it would be farther than that for you, but I guess there are enough highways coming down that way... I...
