Re: Axle Bearing / Oil filter numbers
Bearing is a 35x72x17mm should be a 3500 bearing accoarding to the partnumber but i'm not sure on this one. Size points to a 6207 bearing. Oilseal is a 48x62x9. You need a bearing retainerring too. Original oilfilternumber is 16510-73000. Here is a crossreferencepage: http://www.oilfilter-crossrefer...

Tell them what you said the mud smelled like, Smuz. I just said it smelled "like a goat's ass" and everybody acted like they'd never heard anything like that before. :ohno: Or they were thinking about jou actually smelling a goat's ass. How else can you know that that mud smells like the ...

Re: Extreme Bends makes LJ80 body parts
I think this is the only other company that makes repairpanels for the lj80: http://www.autoblechteile.de/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I have to warn you, the quality is pretty bad. I used one piece to repair my rear wheelwell and it took a lot of work to make it fit, bu...

Re: All stories have to start somewhere
It will run on it, no problem. How much ah is the samurai battery? Lj's have a 35ah battery and a 30ah alternator. Starter will turn harder and it will take longer to load it full capacity but it will work.

Re: All stories have to start somewhere
You can get a bigger battery in there but it requires some work. You have to fill out the bottom of the battery tray, make a new strap to hold the battery in place and maybe some new connectors for it. The original lj battery has very tiny terminals, samurai has bigger ones.

Re: All stories have to start somewhere
Carb is a replacement from who knows what, but not sj410. Coolant expantiontank and the heatshield on the exhaustmanifold are missing but the rest looks pretty original!
