These mounts measure 106 mm approx between the holes
Looks like the seller was measuring the actual distance between the holes, and not the center to center distance. Assuming 8mm dia bolts, that'd work out about right.

Re: LJ Interior Courtesy Light

Good info Tom, thanks! I bet that is a lot brighter than the stock light too! For those who want all original, the stock interior light assy. is still available (or at least it was last year.) Well dang, if I'd known that, I'd have just ordered one! Could have sworn I asked you about these a few ye...

LJ Interior Courtesy Light

Probably like most LJ's, mine was missing the interior under dash courtesy light. I had found quite a few accessory lights that I could make work, if I was willing to drill new holes in the dash in order to install them. But in the spirit of not modifying my nearly original dash too much, I was resi...

Looking for one of these kits and cant seem to locate? Anyone have any ideas? Praiber@hutchtel.net The Ebay ones seem to have dried up, but this Australian shop still shows them in stock. Unfortunately, at over 3 times the cost! https://www.4wdpartshop.com.au/suzuki/suzuki-four-wheel-drives/lj-4x4/...

Re: LJ20 carb rebuild with LJ50 kit (ebay purchase)

I'm very glad it worked ok. I haven't used the one I received yet, but when it came in I checked the diameter and length of the accelerator pump, and the top carb gasket and they were the same. I just eyeballed the float needle valve, and at first glance it appeared to be the same too. So it's just ...

Re: Moab - April 2017

The other big change from 2000-2011 was that in 2011 nearly every vehicle in attendance was a four-door Wrangler or a fabricated buggy of some sort. In fact, there were not really any other makes/clubs than Jeep represented. I believe we had around 10 Suzukis there, and we were probably the second ...

Spring Awakening

My poor LJ had been sitting forlorn and forgotten under a tarp for 6 months. But winter is over, and spring has definitely sprung here in West Texas. Time to de-winterize the LJ! Pull the tarp. Somehow, something has broken the left rearview mirror. No problem, I have a spare. Dirt is covering every...

Zuks of KC is planning a few meets this year: Manhattan, Ks. over Memorial Day and Disney, Ok. over Labor Day to name two. I'll post in the local meets thread when they are finalized. LJ's are always welcome to come hang out/wheel with us. Anything with that Manhattan, Ks meet? I've got Memorial Da...

One tip for long-distance motorcycle trips: Earplugs. Three weeks later I'm still half-deaf from the wind/road noise. Despite a full coverage helmet. Hope it's not permanent!

Tried to make it...really!

Well, actually 7 years late. Just got back a couple of weeks ago from a valiant, yet futile attempt to make the 2007 Cooke City Lj Meet. Unfortunately the Flux Capacitor I built for my bike failed to work as expected, and the 1.21 gigawatts I borrowed from my windfarm didn't send me back to the summ...

Re: 2014 Lj Meet?

Yellowstone sounds interesting. I've only been there once, and it was just a quick pass through, with a stop to see Old Faithful. Didn't get a chance to do any exploring. It's a national park so I would doubt there is any real 4 wheeling, but I'm sure there's a lot of scenic drives. Anyone want to d...

Any pre-planning going on out there for the 2014 Annual Lj Meet? Never too early to start!

Re: Zuks of KC - Moab, 2013

Well, they wanted hard, so I showed them hard. Did Moab Rim, a nice, short starter trail with a scenic overlook at the top. A 4.5 out of 5 on the old scale. Took less then 2 hours up and back. They were itching for more, so up the road is Pritchett Canyon. A solid 5 out of 5 trail, and that was seve...
