Re: Who is up for a beach run?

I vote Operation Shore Patrol, Ocean Shores. We may not have the LJ running (either one...) but could always head over with the Samurai.

Herald, good tip on the email address. Don't know what I was thinking! I'll try to get to the picture this evening. Steve, Never got the exhaust cleared out. It ended up being a pretty long drive for us to not have the LJ run properly. It was running at about 80% before we left and we were hoping to finish dialing it in with the help of the LJ gear-heads. Oh well, it was still a pretty nice trip and we really enjoyed our (short) journey through Yellowsto...

I've been looking at the maps and there are a ton of old mines in the area. I'll bring along my laptop with the Magellan GPS mapping software if anybody has a Magellan Map 330, or SporTrak series GPS.

We haven't decided on the before vs. after Yellowstone trip. I'm still waiting for the updated school schedule and my wife to figure out the dates of her trip.

Looking through the pictures of Beartooth pass, the scenery is awesome. We'll probably head across it without the LJ just to see the views.

It’s time to do some planning. Do we have grids for the campground? Planning our trip, we found that the Hwy 212/Beartooth pass route may not be such a great idea for our 4.0 liter Cherokee towing a trailer. The pass tops out at 10,974 ft with a 12-mile section climbing from about 5,200 ft to 8,000 ...

Jr and I hope to attend. I'd call it a 75% chance right now. If we make it, it will most likely just be the two of us, camping in a tent and trailering the LJ10 behind the Cherokee.

:ohno: Wow, I swear I didn't hit anything THAT hard. I was just driving up the rutted section, bumped something with the muffler, and the exhaust suddenly sounded "better". Time for a header and new 2" exhaust, eh!?

BTW, thanks for putting this together SteveC.

I've found that posting the images to a hosting site like www.photobucket.com and then linking them back to the post works best. Look through past help files or PM me for specific instructions. BTW, it was great meeting everybody! I think we should head north of the border for next years meet.

Well the deimoss are back. We had a great time even though my father and I just sat around at camp driving the lj around. The clutch was slipping really bad, exhaust was clogged, and the master cylinder was sticking so we couldn't stop too good. It was very weird to see all those people in person th...

Parts to bring to meet list:

His contact info is on his website. I thought about sending him an email but haven't yet.
This is the 2004 reprint of the book. Deimos_jr saw it on ebay and half.com for a few bucks; it can probably still be found at Borders or other book stores.
