Re: Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway

Wonderful drive for sure. I have rescued vehicles on that road more than once. I used to drive a tow truck.

It is paved and very scenic and winds all over the place.

Even tho is paved the twistys will be a hoot in an LJ.

Re: 2010 Meet Location

Glad to see you back; hope you can join us at the meet! Thanks Unless I hit the Powerball I doubt we will make it. I have always loved the LJs since I first saw some at a Suzuki motorcycle dealer in the early 70s. I never found one for me but I used to own a 410 pickup that was a treasured vehicle ...

Re: 2010 Meet Location

The Black Hills National Forest does not do like other government lands and have designated 4 wheeling trails. What they do is allow vehicles on certain forest service trails. Some of these trails can only be seen by wagon wheel ruts full of grass. They are not well traveled trails as such. Every ye...

Re: 2010 Meet Location

My name is Kelly Brown. Smuz asked me to stop by. I don't own an LJ :| but I do daily drive an 1987 Samurai. I lived in Hill City (15 miles from Mt. Rushmore) until January. I now live in White River which is on the edge of the Badlands. I was a member of the Black Hills 4Wheelers before it turned i...
